Unique_features
 PLOW BLADE CONSTRUCTION
The robust 12-gauge powder coated steel moldboard is a full 31½" tall and comes in 8', 8' 6", and 9' widths.
The PRO PLUS® blade features a 65-degree attack angle, and a high carbon steel cutting edge comes standard, reducing wear and extending the life of the blade.

 Structural Reinforcement
Eight vertical ribs, a heavy-duty quadrant, and the exclusive WESTERN® POWER BAR provide exceptional torsional strength and rigidity, to eliminate blade twisting even under the most brutal conditions.
The high-strength steel base channel provides extra support along the bottom of the plow blade.
The 1" diameter pivot bolt secures the plow in place, ensuring proper alignment and reducing stress on the overall plow assembly.

We manufacture our own hydraulic components to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability, so that you get a hydraulics system that's not only fast and responsive, but that's built to last season after season.
Fully enclosed components are protected from the elements.

 Trip Protection
Four heavy-duty coil springs protect your plow and truck by allowing the whole blade to trip when striking obstacles.
Dual shock absorbers reduce jarring and soften the blade return when tripping occurs, to extend the life of your truck and plow.

 PRO PLUS® FOR SKID-STEERS
The PRO PLUS® snow plow is also available with skid-steer mounting options.

 Tractor Compatible Mount Kit
Designed for easy installation onto a wide range of tractor models, these mount kits make it possible for the PRO-PLOW Series 2 straight blades to fit on a compact tractor. They are flared both vertically and horizontally to ensure proper alignment and make the drive-in connection easier. The push beam, which makes up the front portion of the mount, can be quickly detached to allow for a loader attachment.

 PLOW CONTROL OPTIONS
Choose between a CabCommand hand-held control with push buttons or a joystick control, based on operator preference. For efficient, precise and intuitive blade control while plowing, both controls feature power “on” and “float” LED lights, backlighting for night operation, and plug-in connector for easy removal.

 SECURITY GUARD™ ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
The exclusive WESTERN® SECURITY GUARD™ snow plow anti-theft system is a safe and secure way to electronically lock your snow plow when it is detached from your truck. Unlike physical locks that can easily be cut or removed, the system provides a deterrent against theft by allowing you to electronically lock the snow plow's hydraulic functions, rendering your plow inoperable to unauthorized users.

 ULTRAFINISH™ BAKED-ON POWDER COAT
The ULTRAFINISH™ baked on powder coat with epoxy primer is standard on all WESTERN® plows, providing outstanding protection against wear and rust. Each WESTERN plow goes through an automated eight-wheel shot blaster pre-treatment process and multi-stage pre-wash to prepare the plow surface for optimum coating adhesion.
After that a durable epoxy primer is applied to improve corrosion resistance and enhance powder coat adhesion. The powder coat is then applied with robotic guns that ensure precise, consistent powder coat coverage. The final baking process seals the long-lasting hard-as-nails WESTERN red coat. The result is a state-of-the-industry finish that will provide superior protection for your plow, season after season.

 Isolation Module
This advanced snow plow light and electrical system features improved electrical pins in the harness for trouble-free connections. An underhood module improves system life and complies with OEM requirements. No toggle switch needed to change from vehicle to plow lights.

 UltraMount® 2 SNOWPLOW MOUNTING SYSTEM
The UltraMount® 2 system is designed for fast and easy installation and removal using a simple mechanical system. It features a robust one-piece design and is 100% compatible with UltraMount® system mounts and electrical platforms.

 CHAIN LIFT SYSTEM
The mechanical chain lift system offers a variety of performance and reliability advantages over a hydraulic system.

 FLEET FLEX ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The FLEET FLEX electrical system provides true fleet interchangeability. The same FLEET FLEX CabCommand hand-held or joystick control can operate any UltraMount® and UltraMount® 2 mounted plow on any truck at any time.

 Pre-Punched Blades for Accessories
The blade is pre-punched for easy installation of accessories, providing a custom fit. The pre-punched holes also prevent damage to the powder coat that can sometimes occur when installing an accessory.

 BACK DRAG EDGE
Ensure a clean scrape every time, when you back drag. The WESTERN back drag edge is built to be as rugged and durable as every other component of your plow. Constructed of 0.25" abrasion-resistant steel and angled to maximize back dragging performance. This easy to install back drag edge is a key tool in any snowfighter's kit.

 CARBIDE CUTTING EDGE
Protect your investment—even on fast passes and rough roads—with a 3/4" high carbon steel cutting edge with carbide insert. It provides extra wearability by utilizing hard carbide material and also increasing the surface area at the point of contact.

 CONVERSION KIT
This easy-to-use UltraMount® to UniMount® conversion kit enables you to attach a UniMount plow to a vehicle equipped with an UltraMount System vehicle mount. This kit is perfect if you have multiple snow plows, providing your fleet with versatility while changing to the UltraMount System. It is also ideal when transferring an old UniMount plow to a late model vehicle. When you are ready to replace the UniMount plow, the truck will already be equipped with the mount and wiring for any UltraMount® or UltraMount® 2 plow. Designed for use with all Standard, PRO, and 8' 6" MVP® UniMount plows. Not compatible with Sport Utility or Heavyweight models.
